November Decor

October 31 has come and gone, so the Halloween decor has been put away until next year.  As November arrived, I added a few more fall items just in time for Thanksgiving…

I created these wheat topiaries this year. Height, texture and of course the wheat were a must.  I love their slender, elegant feel.

Loving the pop of orange as well.  It’s been so fun working with orange in two client’s homes.

This houseplant serves as a centerpiece year round.  The cut crystal bowl was a wedding gift from Handyman Husband’s mother; it belonged to his grandmother.  I added the silver tray with the squash (again for color and texture).

The entry has been cleared of the Halloween decor…

However, the scarecrow remains, and Daniel still enjoys “decorating” with him!

The fun Halloween decor has also been removed from the exterior!

Kale has taken the place of the polka dot pumpkins…

Love, love, love the texture and color of kale!

The pumpkins and gourds have been rearranged as well!

And Mr. Scarecrow has had a facelift!

Indian corn is now displayed on the front doors…I look forward to adding my corn each year!

My favorite time of year will always be fall!

The witch and ghosts have flown away from the chandelier, and Daniel’s artwork from school is now front and center!

Priceless!

Does your decor transition from October to November?

Enjoy the day!

  • I love the kale too! It adds so much color and is a good alternative to flowers. I plan to copy the swag and the corn on the front door. They are a great alternative to the traditional wreath.
