November Culinary Club

This past Sunday evening, Culinary Club met at Diane’s home for a delicious meal…

We started the evening with a fabulous “Harvest Margarita” created by Beth!  I made the “Fried Ravioli.”  I’m amazed at how many in the group have never “fried” before…this recipe called for store bought ravioli which was a great time saver.  Very easy to do…just dip the ravioli in buttermilk, then cover with Italian bread crumbs, and fry in olive oil.  Sprinkle with fresh Parmesan and use a store bought jar of marina sauce!  An easy appetizer!!!

Golden brown and yummy!

The margarita’s simple syrup called for allspice berries, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and fresh ginger…very “fall like” and tasty!

Allison made “Green Beans with Lemon and Garlic.”  So fresh and light!

Our entree’, made by Diane, was “Pork Medallions in Port Wine and Dried Cranberry Sauce.”  We all said we would make this again!  The pork is almost finished!

And the sauce was the perfect blend of sweet and savory!

Absolutely yummy!  Shelly made the “Pesto Mashed Potatoes.”  I learned about “Simply Potatoes,” which are refrigerated mashed potatoes located in the dairy section of the grocery store!  Great tip!

For dessert, Colleen made this great “Chocolate-Almond Torte.”

Per the usual, our plates were clean!!!

Thank you Diane for hosting, and we all enjoyed her fall decor!

Candles illuminated the dining room…

As we enjoyed another fine evening together!

Have you been enjoying some delicious fall meals?

Enjoy the day!
