March Culinary Club

Hello again!  Last week, Daniel had his adenoids removed, and he’s doing fantastic!  I’m back with some yummy recipes.  Peek-A-Boo Beth was our hostess with the mostess…

Beth chose recipes from Ina Garten’s “Foolproof.”  I’d say this cookbook lives up to its title!

Colleen enjoyed perusing through the pages…Ina’s cookbooks can definitely be read like novels!

Allison is helping Shelly prepare the cocktail!  Be sure to stir the strawberry puree slowly as the Prosecco tends to foam up quickly!

We enjoyed Rossinis, a Bellini type cocktail but with strawberries!  Loved Beth’s spring table and this Prosecco label!

With our cocktails, we enjoyed Colleen’s Caramelized Bacon…oh my, such goodness!

Of course, Colleen went above and beyond and served baked figs too!

Beth chose Crispy Mustard Roasted Chicken for our entree’…delicious and moist!!!

I made these Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts!  I’ll be making these again.  Adding pancetta and the balsamic vinegar really added a punch to the typical roasted brussels sprouts!

For Dessert, Allison made Ultimate Pumpkin Pie with Rum Whipped Cream!  This was not your everyday pumpkin pie!

We all agreed this menu was a keeper as well as the cookbook!  We missed Diane due to illness and hope she is well soon!!!

Do you ever cook with Ina Garten?

Enjoy the day!
