According to the calendar and my mother, spring has sprung! However, I am not feeling it, and I’m thinking not too many are just yet! I have added a couple of spring additions to the front porch in anticipation of warmer temperatures…
Of course, the “Jana Hunter Interiors” green theme continues! (and Daniel couldn’t resist being in the picture!)
This year I’ve added a pair of bird topped wire topiaries…they were a gift from Mother!
I’m loving the height, and the base fit perfectly on the lip of the concrete urn!
Once again, I’m using ivy! Its tendrils will hopefully grow, and I’ll be able to train them to climb the topiary!
And the bird adds a nice sense of charm!
The damask style green and white pillows were added this year!
A variety of angles…
Vinca, which I adore, is now blooming with its new growth! Now, I’m waiting on the hostas to arrive and am about to say bye-bye to the pansies!
I’ll be sure to post new pictures as the green grass emerges, and the creeping jenny becomes brighter! Until then, I’m hoping for spring temperatures soon!
Are you?
You may see our spring front porch from last year HERE.
Enjoy the day!
Jana
P.S. I hope you had a great spring break…we sure did! We just came back from Dallas where I attended Blissdom, a bloggers conference. SEVERAL future posts will be from this trip…can’t wait to share!
Jana – What a beautiful home you have! Your front porch is to die for. Would you share the color you painted your brick? We just bought a fixer upper and the brick is a nasty color and I want to paint it! Oh – and I love your green shutters. So glad I came across your lovely blog this morning.
have a wonderful day.
Hi Debra! Thank you so very much for the kind compliment! Congratulations on your new home…a fixer upper is such great fun! The house colors are both custom. I offer online consultations…I’d love to help! Enjoy the day!
