Garden Tour: Part 2

As you walk through the “front door” of my parent’s garden, you walk along a path underneath a huge Southern Magnolia tree.  It’s the “roof”of the kid’s play area.  And as you walk past the play area, you walk into a wonderful oasis…

Welcome to the focal point of the garden!  Every brick and stone (except the columns) were placed by Mother’s hand!

The Mondo grass completely filled the Quatrefoil design this year!

The rock columns topped with the concrete spheres are new this year!  Mother was inspired by Bunny Williams when we visited her garden in Connecticut…read about our trip HERE!

This area adjacent to the back door is one of my favorites!

It’s just a delight!  You can see Mother behind the foliage…you can always find her in the garden especially in the early mornings walking the garden and drinking coffee!

Tomorrow I’ll show you the rest of the garden and my parent’s screened-in porch!

Enjoy the day!
