After my trip to Vancouver, I turned right around for an unexpected trip to Dallas last week. I’m finally back and still getting all my ducks in a row as they say. We’re embracing fall like temperatures in the mornings these days. I can attest for the 53 degree weather as I sit on the screened in porch with my coffee and blanket. I had decorated for fall prior to my trip and here’s a look at our fall mantel…
When I say, “a very simple fall mantel,” I mean it! I just noticed a client’s chair (which tuned out to be fabulous) in the background, oops, and the “flying” bat is part of Elizabeth’s Halloween party decorations she’s been planning!
I took faux silk garland and draped it on top of the mantel. And then I added the twigs!
I absolutely love the addition of the twigs! It adds a sense of dimension and elegance, and it’s straight from the yard!
Because our home is already so layered, I tend to scale back with holiday decorations. This very simple fall mantel adds just the right amount of fall inside our home!
Enjoy the day!
