I am delighted and honored to be featured in this month’s issue of “At Home in Arkansas!” If you are an Arkansan, you know this magazine! Each page is filled with lovely inspiration, amazing stories, and wonderful ideas highlighting homes and gardens. You will find articles featuring interior design, garden design, entertaining, gift ideas, and the list keeps going. I had the absolute pleasure of working with some amazing people. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chip Jones, Nancy Nolan, and Tiffany Burgess…
Welcome to the porch! As you know, I love color, and our home definitely reflects just that! For the porch, I desired a tranquil, outdoor living space; therefore, I designed the original color palette around muted blue greens, soft turquoise, browns, and cream. It’s been three years now, and I’ve changed things up a bit!
I added a pop of orange to the color palette! The painting above, bought in an antique mall, was the inspiration. I adored its original frame, the scene, as well as the colors.
Adding just enough orange, truly adds a layer of freshness without taking away from the porch’s tranquility!
I adore entertaining and designing a tablescape is one of my favorite parts of a gathering!
